A tribute to Lonnie Downes

It is with great sadness that we have to announce the passing of our fellow veteran and good friend Lonnie Downes. Lonnie was a tireless supporter and fundraiser for the VCP, the Coventry Airborne Forces Association and the Coventry War Memorial Park, and was highly respected by everyone who knew him.
Stand easy, Lonnie, you will be greatly missed. Our flag flies at half mast today.
