The VCP Offices will be closed from Friday 30th August until 31st November 2018, this is to enable major building and refurbishment works to be done by Warwickshire County Council and Balfour Beatty via their Company “Giving Back” initiative. We are extremely honoured to be a recipient of the generous show of support to our Armed Forces Community and for them to recognise the work we do as a small military charity in the Warwickshire and Coventry area.
To watch Balfour Beatty’s promotional video follow the link: www.balfourbeatty.com/vcp
This is also an opportunity for our local Armed Forces Community, Veterans and Serving Personnel and the local community to become involved in this project. This may be through fund raising activities to enhance the internal fittings once the refurb has been completed; getting involved in working alongside Balfour Beatty’s tradesman – work experience for those considering a construction trade, or just being there and visible “showing your support”.
We do plan a grand opening event once the work has been completed which we hope our community both Armed Forces and Civilian will take the opportunity to come see first hand the finished project. We know it will be amazing and will provide us the perfect operating base for us to continue to “be there” for our veterans and to help in the development of the VCP as the Armed Forces Hub for Nuneaton & Bedworth Area.
We will continue to monitor or various media channels, emails, Facebook, Twitter and provide a limited outreach service to those in need. However should you need support outside of this, we encourage you to make contact for support via the following helpline:
